Eitmann
- Director of Bands
Daniel
Eitmann is in his seventh year of teaching. During
his tenure at Northshore High School, the band has
consistently received superior ratings at District,
State, and Regional Contests and Festivals and
numerous students have been placed in Parish,
District, State, and Regional Honor Bands. Mr.
Eitmann graduated magna cum laude from Loyola
University in New Orleans where he was named both
"Outstanding Percussionist" and "Outstanding Music
Education Graduate." Mr. Eitmann has performed with
the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, Allen
Toussaint, Al Hirt, the Jefferson Performing Arts
Society, and was recently a guest soloist with the
SLU Percussion Ensemble. His performances have been
recognized by the National Foundation for
Advancement of the Arts and the International
Association of Jazz Educators. Mr. Eitmann's
professional affiliations include IAJE, LMEA, MENC,
and PAS. He and his wife Melissa, a 4th grade
teacher at Riverside Elementary, reside just outside
of Slidell with their son Andrew.

Jessica Lizana - Assistant
Director of Bands
Ms.
Lizana is an accomplished flutist, native of
Slidell, Louisiana and alumni of Northshore High
School. Before coming to Northshore as Assistant
Director of Bands, she taught at Fontainebleau High
School in Mandeville, Louisiana where her bands
received superior ratings. Ms. Lizana
graduated cum laude from Loyola University of New
Orleans with a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental
Music Education. As a student at Loyola she received
numerous awards including “Outstanding Band Member”
and the “Dearamee Scholarship”. While attending
Loyola she was involved in a variety of performing
groups and organizations including the Loyola Wind
Ensemble, Concert Band, Jazz Workshop Band, Flute
Choir, University Chorus, Sigma Alpha Iota, Phi Eta
Sigma and MENC. Ms. Lizana is a frequent performer
in the Metro New Orleans area. Her professional
affiliations include LMEA and MENC.

Fred Wild - Talented Music
Instructor
Frederick Wild is in
his third year of teaching and his second year
as the talented music instructor at Northshore
High School. Previously, he was the Assistant
Director of Bands at Fontainebleau High School
where his bands received sweepstakes at the
district festival. Mr. Wild graduated cum laude
from Loyola University in 1998, earning a
Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. As a
requirement for the degree he student-taught
with the Northshore High School Band under
director Tim Schneider. After receiving his
Master’s in Music in French Horn Performance
from Florida State University in 2000, Mr. Wild
pursued a career as a professional musician. He
has performed with many ensembles throughout the
south including the Tallahassee Symphony,
Florida West Coast Symphony, Savannah Symphony,
and the Symphony of Santo Domingo, DR. Since
returning to his native New Orleans Mr. Wild has
performed with Josh Groban, the Louisiana
Philharmonic Orchestra, the Jefferson Performing
Arts Society, NOCCA and the Center for Creative
Arts. In addition to his teaching duties at
Northshore High School, Mr. Wild is the adjunct
Professor of Horn at Southeastern University of
Louisiana and the Assistant Principle Horn of
the Gulf Coast Symphony. He, his wife Christina
and their two children Fred V, 3 yrs., and Lucy,
10 months, live in New Orleans.
